Building a Generation of Effective Leaders

The Junior Economic Club brings together the best and brightest high school students in Seattle to an unparalleled ecosystem of discussion, exposure, and leadership. We invest in Seattle’s future by allowing students to understand and solve real-world economic problems in both the public and private sectors.

By giving these students a head start, we are nurturing more effective, experienced, and responsible leaders, thereby guaranteeing Seattle’s prosperous future for generations to come.

Our Structure

Engagement is centered around seminars, in which members listen to distinguished guest speakers and interact with panels of professionals.

Additionally, the Junior Economic Club’s initiatives enable members to better their community and explore their interests. These activities include: writing and publishing articles for the Junior Economist, participating in investment competitions, and teaching financial literacy lessons to middle schoolers.
